Amazon has debuted a new piece of desktop software dedicated to music. The new Cloud Player is part of Amazon’s mission to bring its music service “everywhere” and is extremely focused on the music. Cloud Player already existed as a web app, but lacked some of the features that come with a dedicated desktop app.

Up until now, it was possible for users to access Cloud Player through their web browsers, but the primary benefit of the PC app is the ability to store music offline.

This is a big bonus for those who don’t always want to be online or who don’t have a reliable connection.

On the face of it, the Cloud Player desktop app looks pretty interesting. It promises to automatically add all your iTunes and Windows Media Player music so you have all your music in one place, without the user having to go and fetch it. Continuing on from that, it promises to keep your library up to date every time you buy music — even from iTunes — or rip a CD, automatically adding it to Cloud Player. If you prefer to use iTunes, no problem, export your music from Cloud Player to play over there.

Microsoft Bing today announced a new feature called Smart Motion Preview which allows you to Read more

Microsoft Bing today announced a new feature called Smart Motion Preview which allows you to preview a video before travelling to the site. This feature is just to ensure that you are travelling to the correct site. So you can just have a preview of first 30 seconds and then be assured that the video you are going to watch is correct and you are navigating to the correct website. With the introduction of this feature, Microsoft has tried to go one level up against election.

According to Microsoft,

”The idea behind Smart Motion Previews is to give people the equivalent of a movie trailer for video results. When we crawl videos, we create short previews (never more than 30 seconds, made up of a few very short clips) that reflect what our video crawling technology thinks are the most relevant parts. We look at the audio levels for instance to see a big play in a sports video (based on the applause from a monster dunk, for example).

What’s cool about the technology is that it helps you decide if it is a video you want to go watch. This makes it easier to sort through the clutter of all those results and help you get to what you are looking for. And as a publisher, when people leave Bing for your site (and require bandwidth on your servers) it tends to be higher quality traffic because folks are sure of what they wanted to watch. Plus, we think it’s pretty cool.”

With this feature, Microsoft has tried to outplay Google has given many one more reason to try BING. However there are certain concerns over the preview of the Adult Video content and Microsoft is trying to improve the feature as much as possible.

Windows 8 introduces significant changes to the operating system’s platform, primarily focused towards improving its user experience on mobile devices such as tablets to better compete with other mobile operating systems. Windows 8 features a new touch user interface and shell based on Microsoft’s ”Metro” design language, featuring a new Start screen with a grid of dynamically updating tiles that represent applications.

Things like Start Screen, Start button, Hot Corners, Charms bar, and Apps Switcher work great and are essential to Windows 8 Tablets but not so much useful to a heavy desktop users whose work are mainly done through desktop programs. And if you are among those heavy desktop users and feel these new features are bothering, here is a simple way to disable them all at once.

Skip Metro Suite is a free portable Windows 8 tweaking tool that let you boot directly to your classic Windows desktop, get rid of all the hot corners so they don’t bother you when you move your cursors around the hot corners. Basically, it turns a Windows 8 computer work like an enhanced Windows 7 PC.

It comes with two editions, one for 32-bit and one for 64-bit. The download package includes both so just extract and launch the one that fits to your version of Windows.

Using the tool is extremely easy. Check the option Enable Skip Metro Suite and select the Windows 8 features you want to disable. And press Save to save the changes. All changes will take place after your computer is rebooted.

Skip Metro Suite doesn’t have a Start Menu replacement. I hope it does though. So if you want that back, you will find one of those 3rd party Start Menu replacement for Windows 8.

One thing is also noticed that the author of Skip Metro Suite, WinAero, has also built a number of other tweaking tools that are worth checking.

Empty folders always are trouble for all of us. Especially, empty folders within an empty folders, etc. This always creates trouble for us. Many people just let it go because they just not bother about this. There are several tools like Empty Folder Cleaner speed up the process a great deal, but their bulky interfaces and extra features can prove to be a handful for some. However, if you want to perform this operation with just a click, then you should try Sub4Del. This is a very handy application that lets you delete all the empty subfolders from a directory with just a right click.

Sub4Del simply adds another option to the Windows File Explorer context menu. Right-click a folder and you should see a new “Remove Empty Sub Folders” option (as shown in the screenshot below), clicking which will get rid of all empty folders and sub-folders within.

The great thing about this tiny utility is that its executable is portable. Simply put, its installation is more of an extraction; you can move the DEF.exe file from its installation folder and run it from any other location without having to install it again. Simply copy it to a USB drive, plug it into your other computers and run the app directly from the drive to rid them of empty folders.

Remember, you should run the app as administrator. If you don’t, it might fail to install the shell extension that displays the “Remove Empty Sub Folders” option in the Explorer context menu or save any settings, for that matter.

When you click OK, the tool generates a “Settings.ini” file. If you want to keep your settings while moving the DEF.exe to another location, simply move this file along with it, placing them both within the same directory. That way, every time you run the tool on a new computer, all you’ll have to do is run the .exe file and click OK to start deleting empty folders.

Sub4Del was tested with Windows 8 Pro. It is also available for Windows 7 and XP.

Most of us use computers and all of us use mouse for our day to Read more

Most of us use computers and all of us use mouse for our day to day purpose. But still we do not know many of the tricks that we can perform using the mouse middle click. There are quite a few handful of tips for Mouse middle click with which you can perform important tasks. Some of them are listed below:

1.Open and Close Windows while hovering over preview thumbnail :

You can use it to close a Windows when hovering over an open preview thumbnail application on the taskbar. For instance, suppose you have two opened window, and you can close one of the windows by hovering over the preview thumbnail, and anywhere inside the preview box click middle button and you can close the application. It is much easier than trying to point your cursors to the very left of the tiny close button.

You can also open a new instance of the same application on the taskbar. For example, if you have one Firefox Browser opened, you can launch a new Firefox browser by just middle clicking the icon.

The same thing can be performed on Windows 8. In Windows 8, hover and middle click any apps on the right app list will close the app. ( You can get to the list by move your mouse to the top left corner and slide down)

2. Close a browser’s tab by clicking on it :

Middle click a browser’s tab will close this tab, without bringing the tab up front. This works for Chrome, Firefox and IE. It’s essentially the same for left click the x mark when hover over.

3. Open any link in the Background :

Last but not least, shared in day #29 if you middle click a link in any web browser, a new page will be launched in a separate tab behind the scenes.

Hope you like this post..Thank you!!!!

We have already heard of this name in Windows 7. This feature also existed in Windows Vista. Now, this is also present in Windows 8. MSDN refers it as Super Mode in WIndows 8 For those, who does not know about God Mode, below lies the introduction.

SUPER Mode in Windows 8

Most of all love Windows, but it is true that it is not all easy to find all the control panel settings and configuration Wizards. All of those settings are available; they are just difficult to put your finger on sometimes. For example, there are two control panels in Windows 8 - one is attached to the Start Screen and one is part of the Desktop environment. Of course, neither of them grants you access to all of the configuration settings you’d like to see. This is where you can employ the power of what has been named “Super mode.”

In Windows 8, Super mode is just a special folder that contains links to all of the control panel and configuration settings. Creating the special folder is not difficult, but it does require knowledge of a special code.

If you want to create the All Setting shortcut on your Windows 8 desktop, you may right-click on your desktop, select New > Folder and give it the following name:

   SuperMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

Alternatively, you could select New > Shortcut instead and in the Location of the item field, type the following:

     %WinDir%explorer.exe shell:::{F90C627B-7280-45db-BC26-CCE7BDD620A4}

You will get your Super Mode or God Mode shortcuts.

Super Mode

When you double-click that folder you will be taken to a very long list of control panel settings and configuration wizards, separated into sections.

Super Mode

Whenever we think about healthcare, the first thing that comes to our mind is “Ayurveda”. Ayurveda focus on the forms of traditional medicine prevalent across India today. Ayurveda stresses the use of plant-based medicines and treatments. Hundreds of plant-based medicines are employed, including cardamom and cinnamon. Minerals, including sulfur, arsenic, lead, copper sulfate and gold are also consumed as prescribed. But studies on Ayurveda have revealed that it is not that safe. They cause severe lead poisoning and other toxic effects.

But the current situation of the healthcare facility in India is completely different. The evolution of technology over the period of last two decades has changed the overall situation of the healthcare situation. There was a time when people used to have less disease compared to what they have now. There was very less pollution, very less diseases. So, People were not very worried about the healthcare facilities. But, now the world has changed. People are very very much worried about their healthcare facilities. They make assure that the place they get treated are trust-able or not. Everything is taken care of nowadays such as Cleanliness, hospitality, proper medication, etc.

With the evolution of technology, there has been so significant improvement in the modern healthcare facilities. Within a span of two decades, we have seen so many instruments such as Ultrasound, MRI machines, CET scanners, Xray machines, etc. Earlier performing surgery was such a big task. Now a days Laser surgery has come into existence which has made the surgery now days so comfortable. Now life support equipment’s are alo there which is used to maintain a patient’s bodily function. This includes medical ventilators, anaesthetic machines, heart-lung machines, ECMO, and dialysis machines. Medical monitors allow medical staff to measure a patient’s medical state. Monitors may measure patient vital signs and other parameters including ECG, EEG, blood pressure, and dissolved gases in the blood.

Except all these features, there has been some extra ordinary development in the world of healthcare and Appollo, one of the leading healthcare brand has a great contribution to it. some of the developments include Radiosurgery ,Liver Transplant, Bone Marrow Transplant, Hand & Microsurgery, Infertility Care, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Robotic Surgery, G scan, etc.

Although the cost of these facilities are very high now. But we can expect that with more evolution over the coming days, the cost will get reduced and the more and more people will be able to use the system and try to

The California-based search giant has launched a new feature called Inactive Account Manager, which gives its users the power to decide what to do with their digital photos, documents and other virtual belongings in the event of their death.

Inactive Account Manager

No one lives for ever! While one may make a Legal Will to distribute his or her assets, among heirs, after death, very few think about or plan for their online digital assets. You make posts on Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Plus and other social networking sites. You have emails that contain all types of information. No one really pays much attention to Digital Assets Management! Ever wondered what happens to all these online digital assets after your death ?

The service can be used to pass on online data from Google Drive, Gmail, YouTube, or social network Google+ to an individual, or delete it in case the accounts are dormant for a long time. It also gives users the option to ‘burn’ their accounts deleting all virtual materials from all Google properties, including Google voice extensions.

This will take you to the Inactive Account Manager page

The set-up page reads: “What should happen to your photos, emails and documents when you stop using your account? Google puts you in control.

“You might want your data to be shared with a trusted friend or family member, or you might want your account to be deleted entirely. There are many situations that might prevent you from accessing or using your Google account. Whatever the reason, we give you the option of deciding what happens to your data.

For example, you can choose to have your data deleted — after three, six, nine or 12 months of inactivity. Or you can select trusted contacts to receive data from some or all of the following services: +1s; Blogger; Contacts and Circles; Drive; Gmail; Google+ Profiles, Pages and Streams; Picasa Web Albums; Google Voice and YouTube. Before our systems take any action, we’ll first warn you by sending a text message to your cellphone and email to the secondary address you’ve provided.

We hope that this new feature will enable you to plan your digital afterlife — in a way that protects your privacy and security — and make life easier for your loved ones after you’re gone.

A new build of Windows 8.1 has been seen on different file sharing networks along with some screenshots which makes us aware that we are getting some new features in the new release of Microsoft’s OS. There are not many significant changes in the Operating System, however there are some tweaks to smoothen the interface of Metro (aka Modern) style Applications.

Improved SnapView

The Verge says that Microsoft has improved even further the Snap View functionality, and now users can choose which “view an app opens into”. The new mode will only be visible when two or more apps are snapped, and the newly launched app will simply float on top the current snapped apps until you choose where you want to start the app.

FILE Explorer APP

We heard previously that Microsoft would be including a new File app, now the app is present and working in the latest leaked build. What is interesting is that the File app has the SkyDrive logo, which lead us to keep thinking, what is the software giant intentions? Personally, I would say that the folks at Redmond are planning a single file manager app to access local files and SkyDrive since within the app you’ll find both options, ”This PC” (default) and SkyDrive.

NEW BUTTON

A difference from the previous leak, build 9369 adds more improvements when using the Windows 8 “Metro” UI with the keyboard and mouse. For example, a new buttons appears floating in the bottom-left corner of the Start screen to get access to all the apps. And different filters are also available to let users sort apps “by date installed” and “by most used” (build 9364 had “by Name” or “by Date installed”).

Apart from above features, there are other features such as Introduction to REFS (Resilient File System), Advance sync options, boot to desktop options, etc which are expected. It seems that the software giant Microsoft is improving Windows 8 and we can expect some more changes/improvements in the upcoming version to be released soon.

Twitter recently announced that they would no longer support Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 7 Read more

Twitter recently announced that they would no longer support Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 7 after seeing the current market share of these outdated browsers. As of now, we know that most of the computers have already been upgraded to the latest version of Internet Explorer like IE1o or IE9.

When Twitter introduced the Tweet button, they used Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 as the baseline for developmental work. But beginning 13th May, Twitter will limit its support for these browser versions.

In a blog post, Twitter listed how the Twitter for Websites JavaScript library would function:

The Tweet button, Follow button, embedded Tweets and timelines will cease to be initialized in IE6.

Factory functions for the creation of widgets will be defined, but will return false to any callback provided in IE6.

Web Intents Events will no longer be supported in IE6 and IE7.

The basic version of Twitter, embed codes, some widgets will however continue to be accessible if you are using these browser versions. Widgets will still continue to be rendered in Internet Explorer 7, but future features may not be implemented.

So if by any chance, you are still using the old versions of Internet explorer, you can upgrade to Internet Explorer 9 or Internet Explorer 10 depending upon upon your Operating System or you can use some some other browsers available such as Chrome, Firefox, etc
